Getting the WordPress Options Right

If you want to use WordPress as a Content management System that makes you site look like static pages, you have to set some standard General options just a bit different..

First build your Homepage and Create a Page to Hold your Blogposts.
Your Home is just a Normal page that you create and write the information you want to display.

The Blog page however is Different!
Create a Page, and Set a Page Title… That’s it.

Don’t write anything in this Page!! Leave it blank!
Publish the page and point the Post page option to that page and start Blogging!

One of the Settings to Change is the Option to use a Static Homepage.
You can find thes setting via your Admin Panel, Options and then choose Reading
Then Choose those pages from the Dropdown list to act accordingly.
